    Louis De Barraicua

Louis De Barraicua became inspired to create a podcast about how we can transform Los Angeles using media that that begins to simulate a version of reality that can exist. Louis was raised as an U.S. Air Force child who spent his high school years in his father's native country - Madrid, Spain. He studied at the University of Southern California (USC) where he majored in Creative Writing. He began his professional career writing commercials, then spent two years at UCLA researching the homeless population. After, he had a five-year stint at Nissan North America where he reseached and developed vehicles with Japanese engineers and designers.

Louis eventually chose to become a teacher to serve communities in South Los Angeles, Panorama City and Sherman Oaks. His observations inside the school system convinced him that the heart of community in Los Angeles is really in the school system, but few people seem to be aware of how it could upgrade the experience within their city. This inspired Louis to launch a podcast that would recruit a team of local leaders to run for office to transform Los Angeles.
